Zell has its own excellent ski area but it is also has access to the neighbouring ski areas of Kaprun, Saalbach and Hinterglemm on the same lift pass.The town itself is right on the edge of a beautiful lake which in the depths of winter is frozen and snow covered. The resort caters for families and those who want to live it up a bit. There is an abundance of great restaurants and bars and a big leisure complex with indoor pools, sauna, steam room, and an ice skating rink.
Skiing Info: Although the town is at a fairly low altitude its position makes it a pretty snow-sure resort, with runs up to an altitide of 2100m and a massive snow cannon network just in case! Zell am See has great skiing and boarding for all levels, the lift system has been upgraded and collects you in high speed comfort right from the centre of the town. Lift passes come at half price for kids, right up to 16 years, which can be a huge saving for families with teenagers.
Skiing on the Kaprun glacier, just a short free bus ride away is included on the area pass so no need to worry about snow-less pistes early or late season in fact right through the summer! and if you fancy a change, the resorts of Saalbach and Hinterglem are also just a short bus ride away.

Ski School: We have negotiated a special 10% discount for all our clients with 'Outdo' a small and very personal and friendly ski school situated on 30metres from the City Express lift in the centre of town. For more info click here or on the link above.
Accommodation: All our apartments are in the centre of Zell and none more than 400 metres from the new high capacity City Express lift.
The Bergstrasse apartments are right next door to the leisure complex and yet only a two minute stroll through cobbled streets to the centre of town, shops, restaurants and the beautiful lake.
